01—The Premise

The flood is the strategy.

For decades, politics had guardrails—editors, producers, networks, shared facts. Digital platforms didn't just disrupt that model; they shattered it. What replaced it is a deliberate, measurable tactic: a high-frequency, emotionally charged onslaught across every channel, so fast and contradictory that verification collapses under the weight.

Flooding the Space traces how contemporary chaos theory is weaponized—from Modi, Putin, Bolsonaro, and Xi to leaders you might least suspect—and introduces the FTSeffect: a patent-pending equation that quantifies saturation across frequency, variance, emotional intensity, and tempo.

This isn't a Donald Trump story. He's a symptom. This is a book about how attention became the most contested asset on Earth. And how to reclaim it.

01 / 03
Flooding doesn't try to make you believe a lie; it makes you give up on finding the truth.
Chapter 1 · The Saturation Strategy
02 / 03
We traded the politics of persuasion for the politics of saturation. In the process, we also changed the definition of winning.
Chapter 1 · Part 1
03 / 03
We do not need to revolt; we need a renaissance of attention.

J.W. Bouckaert

J.W. Bouckaert grew up in rural Alberta, Canada, and has spent the bulk of his career across the military, security, and intelligence sectors—work that shaped a practitioner's view of how narratives are weaponized and how institutions respond.

He holds an MBA from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business and is currently exploring pre-doctoral opportunities. He is also the founder of PasskeyBridge, the first Identity Threat and Response as a Service (ITRaaS) that binds carrier, credential, biometric, and physics-grounded signals into a single quantum-secured identity verdict.

His work on what he calls information slop began in 2016 and culminated in Flooding the Space and the patent-pending FTSeffect equation—a framework for measuring saturation, contradiction, and tempo in modern political communication.

He lives with his wife Helena and their two dogs, Maverick and Lucy.
